MARES Star Liquidskin Mask

The Star Liquidskin is currently enjoying great success in the diving world, as an apnoea mask, i.e. a mask for freediving, but also among all fans of minimalist diving masks with a small volume. Freedivers and SCUBA divers are absolutely convinced, because with the Star, Mares offers us a mask that seals perfectly, fits well and provides plenty of visibility.

High quality materials and great comfort

Made of the patented Liquidskin Bi-Silicone, already known from high-flyers like the X-Vision Ultra Liquidskin, the mask body of the Mares Star diving mask promises long durability, very pleasant wearing comfort and flexible fit. The soft silicone mask seal is 45% softer and 270% more elastic than standard silicone compounds and consists of two different types of silicone with different degrees of hardness in order to ensure the dimensional stability of the mask on the one hand and on the other hand to provide a soft and elastic sealing lip that sits very comfortably on the face and seals optimally without causing pressure points.

Small lenses but large field of Vision

Although the Star apnoea mask has a minimal internal volume, it offers a surprisingly large field of vision, as the mask body is kept very small and the lenses sit very close to the eye. This increases the angle of vision considerably and automatically gives you a really generous field of vision when diving.

Easy adjustment and secure fit

The Mares diving mask Star Liquidskin is equipped with a soft and wide silicone mask strap, which guarantees a very good hold on the back of the head. The mask strap is anchored directly into the frame of the diving mask with two stable and easily adjustable mask buckles with which the strap can be adjusted very easily.
