The Mares Standard Buoy Inflatable is a classic Mares diving buoy, a decompression buoy equipped with a small weight at the bottom, a line and a carabiner.

The Mares buoy is a standard inflatable deco buoy that can be inflated underwater with the air shower. The inflatable Mares signal buoy rises to the surface after inflation where it remains positioned vertically thanks to the small weight attached to the bottom of the Mares deco buoy.  The Mares Standard Buoy is a high quality diving buoy made of sturdy and flexible material that can be easily rolled up after use. The Mares Standard Buoy can be placed directly in the jacket pocket, or it can be stowed in the designated bag which can be attached to any part of the diving equipment with the corresponding carabiner hooks.

With its bright orange color, the Mares Deco Buoy is still easily visible on the surface of the water, even at great distances and in strong swells.

A decompression buoy should always be carried by a diver in open water, because it can be the only way to attract attention in an emergency, whether you have been swept away by the current, whether there is a strong swell and you are not seen by the boat, or whether you have to surface in an area with heavy boat traffic.
