The Scubapro Regulator MK2 EVO / R105

This Scubapro regulator is a light, robust and reliable entry level regulator, designed as a regulator for dive schools or rental regulator like the Scubapro MK2 EVO R195 R095 or MK2 EVO S270 R095, popular also as a travel regulator or spare regulator or for water configuration.

This Scubapro regulator consists of the downstream piston controlled Scubapro MK2 EVO 1st stage with one of the best air delivery rates in its class and the innovative and robust R105 2nd stage with a design based on the high quality S620Ti found in powerful systems such as the MK17 EVO S620Ti. The Scubapro MK2 EVO 1st stage

The MK2 EVO is a light and compact basic 1st stage for Scubapro regulators for dive schools, rental regulators or lightweight travel or spare regulators.

Reliable and very good air delivery performance thanks to improved design

Unlike the famous MK25 EVO, which is also a piston-controlled but air-balanced first stage, the MK2 EVO is a classic downstream piston-controlled first stage, with an improved design featuring a larger piston in a smaller housing. So with this stage you have the most reliable air delivery you could wish for, plus a 15% improvement in air delivery performance, as the enlarged piston gives more power and better response. Thanks to its simple and very reliable design, the MK2 EVO is very popular in dive centres and dive schools as a rental regulator, because it is the cheapest Scubapro 1st stage but at the same time very light, reliable and easy to maintain. The valve seat of the Scubapro 1st stage MK2 EVO is replaceable.

Good freezing protection for such a small 1st stage

The MK2 EVO is equipped with the revolutionary XTIS technology, the Extended Thermal Insulating System technology, with which Scubapro opens a new era of cold water protection technology.  XTIS technology complies with the new EN250-2014 standard and features up to 50% better cold water resistance than previous models, as the mechanical components are completely insulated and protected from external influences thanks to this innovative technology. In addition, the MK2 EVO has a larger cylinder opening for better heat exchange, a new insulation for the block and a new insulating spring coating.

Robust and compact design

The Scubapro MK2 EVO has a chrome-plated brass housing and is equipped with 4 medium pressure ports and 1 high pressure port for simple and easy regulator configurations.

The 2nd stage Scubapro R105

Robust and reliable 2nd stage

Built for regulators with intensive use, for training regulators or rental regulators, the Scubapro R105 offers first line reliability and very robust components. Housed in a scratch-resistant shell based on the design of the popular S620Ti, the R105 is both durable and lightweight. Inside is a classic downstream metal valve known for its reliability.

Comfortable breathing and easy operation

The R105 offers no adjustable breathing resistance, but scores with a pleasant breathing comfort that is also considerably improved by the compact Hi-Flow mouthpiece. In addition, the large purge button is easy and precise to operate.

Practical features

As this 2nd stage is also intended for pony bottles or stage tanks, it can of course be mounted on any Scubapro 1st stage, both on the right and on the left. To prevent accidental free-flow, the R105 is equipped with a practical VIVA Dive/Pre-Dive Lever.
