Regulator Scubapro MK2 EVO S270

This Scubapro MK2 EVO S270 regulator is a brand-new entry-level regulator from Scubapro, a lightweight and reliable regulator for dive newcomers, excellent as a lightweight travel regulator, as a training regulator or as a spare regulator.

This Scubapro regulator consists of the compact 1st stage MK2EVO, known from the popular travel regulator MK2EVO R095, and the modern 2nd stage S270, which can also be found in our online divestore in other regulator combination.

The 1st stage Scubapro MK2 EVO

The MK2 EVO is a light and compact basic 1st stage for Scubapro regulators for beginners, training regulators, rental regulators or lightweught back-up Regulators.

Reliable and very good air delivery performance thanks to improved design

Unlike the famous MK25 EVO, which is also a piston-controlled but air-balanced first stage, the MK2 EVO is a classic downstream piston-controlled first stage, with an improved design featuring a larger piston in a smaller housing. So with this stage you have the most reliable air delivery you could wish for, plus a 15% improvement in air delivery performance, as the enlarged piston gives more power and better response. Thanks to its simple and very reliable design, the MK2 EVO is very popular in dive centres and dive schools as a rental regulator, because it is the cheapest Scubapro 1st stage but at the same time very light, reliable and easy to maintain. The valve seat of the Scubapro 1st stage MK2 EVO is replaceable.

Good freezing protection for such a small 1st stage

The MK2 EVO is equipped with the revolutionary XTIS technology, the Extended Thermal Insulating System technology, with which Scubapro opens a new era of cold water protection technology.  XTIS technology complies with the new EN250-2014 standard and features up to 50% better cold water resistance than previous models, as the mechanical components are completely insulated and protected from external influences thanks to this innovative technology. In addition, the MK2 EVO has a larger cylinder opening for better heat exchange, a new insulation for the block and a new insulating spring coating.

Robust and compact design

The Scubapro MK2 EVO has a chrome-plated brass housing and is equipped with 4 medium pressure ports and 1 high pressure port for simple and easy regulator configurations.

The 2nd stage Scubapro S270

The Scubapro S270 was built as a very light and compact 2nd stage, as a second stage for entry-level regulators or holiday regulators.

Surprisingly high breathing comfort

The S270 2nd stage has a pneumatically balanced valve ensuring constantly pleasant breathing comfort regardless of diving depth or tank pressure. In addition, Super-Flow hose and a Hi-Flow mouthpiece with a large cross-section ensure an above-average airflow for a 2nd stage of this level.

Light and very robust 2nd stage

Made from a fibreglass reinforced nylon core with an innovative PU outer coating, this 2nd stage not only surprises with high resistance to scratches or salt water, but also with an incredible low weight, which is very comfortable for the neck and jaw muscles when diving and also convenient when you use the regulator as a travel regulator.

Very good cold-water properties

In order to be able to work reliably even in cold water, the inside of S270 is a robust plastic cylinder made of technopolymer with a metal thread, surfaces on which ice crystals cannot adhere, which gives this 2nd stage really good freezing protection.

No more free-flowing with the S270

The S270 is equipped with a practical Dive/Pre-Dive switch that helps you avoid accidental free-flow and is easy to operate even with thick neoprene gloves.
