The Scubapro S270 was built as a very light and compact 2nd stage, like the previous models Scubapro R195 or Scubapro R095 , as a second stage for entry level regulators or holiday regulators, and is now also available as an alternative air supply with the same good performance, but clearly visible, yellow marked as a backup air suply for your regulator.

You will find this high quality octopus in combination with almost all Scubapro regulators, like the powerful MK19 EVO DIN D420, the piston-operated regulator MK25 EVO S600 and even with high quality titanium regulators like the MK17 EVO DIN S620Ti or the carbon regulator MK25 EVO Black tech DIN 300 A700 Carbon.

A compact 2nd stage with surprising breathing comfort

The Scubapro S270 2nd stage features a pneumatically balanced valve for constant breathing comfort regardless of depth or tank pressure. In addition, a Super-Flow hose and a Hi-Flow mouthpiece with a large cross-section provide an above-average air flow.

Lightweight and very robust Octopus

Made of glass fibre reinforced nylon core with an innovative PU outer coating, the S270 Octopus scores not only with high resistance to scratches or salt water, but also with an incredible flyweight, which is very comfortable for neck and jaw muscles when diving and can also make the difference as a travel regulator.

Very good cold water properties

To work reliably in cold water, the S270 has a robust technopolymer plastic cylinder inside with a metal thread that prevents ice crystals from sticking to the surface, which leads to very good freezing protection. The S270 2nd stage is also CE certified according to the latest European standards EN250A.

No more accidental free flow

The S270 is equipped with a practical Dive/Pre-Dive switch that helps you avoid accidental free flow and is easy to operate even when wearing thick neoprene gloves.

High visibility even in low light conditions

As an octopus, this Scubapro 2nd stage needs to be found quickly in emergencies and panic situations, so both the alternate air supply cover and the 1m Superflow hose are designed in bright yellow and are easily visible when diving in low light and poor visibility.
