With a lift capacity of 180N in all sizes, the Magellan HD BCD offers safe and reliable support underwater. The Magellan is built as a wing jacket, with the complete air cell on the back for good water position when diving and more freedom of movement. The comfort padding directly under the backplate reliably protects the back, even with heavy diving equipment, while the easily adjustable straps and comfortable shoulder construction ensure a comfortable fit with precise adjustment options.

Practical Mares diving jacket with integrated weight system and stable tank attachment

The Mares dive jacket has integrated side weight pockets with a capacity of up to 6 kg per pocket (depending on size), which can be completely removed if required. In addition, the robust ABS back plate offers secure tank attachment and additional options for trim weights. On the back of the Magellan HD you will find two removable trim weight pockets that offer space for up to 2 kg of lead per pocket.

With 5 stainless steel D-rings, a knife attachment on the left pocket and elastic straps as an octopus holder on the right pocket, the Mares BCD Magellan HD offers a wide range of options for attaching equipment. A roll-out cargo pocket on the right side provides additional storage space.

A completely new feature of this Mares jacket is a special pocket on the right shoulder strap, which offers specific space for the Mares Line Cutter (sold separately), a must-have for every diver.
