Even the highest quality tempred glass that is commonly used in diving masks cannot avoid a green tint, due to the iron content in the glass. For the first time in its M masks, as with the M-1, Hollis has used a special, ultra-clear glass with reduced iron content, the Saint-Gobain diamond glass, which allows a higher light transmission and thus eliminates the green cast for excellent color brilliance underwater.

The large Crystal Clear lenses of the Hollis M-3 mask offer a clear and undistorted view when diving, with 100% true colors. They are also very cleverly cut, with a downward point to allow a large field of vision.

Of course, that’s not the only special feature of the Hollis M3. It also has an elegantly shaped, robust frame with a simple, seamless design and a soft but stable mask skirt with an excellent fit. This consists of a very malleable, anti-allergenic silicone, which nestles softly and comfortably on the face and ensures a good seal when diving.

The mask skirt of this Hollis diving mask is kept very flat, which brings the glass closer to the eye than with most other masks and thus significantly increases the field of vision. Of course, the interior volume of the mask is correspondingly smaller, which also simplifies pressure equalization with increasing depth.
