Special glass with lower iron content ensures unbeatable color clarity

Even the highest quality tempered glass that is commonly used in diving masks cannot avoid a green tint, because this is due to the iron content in the glass. Hollis has for the first time for his “M” dive masks used a special, ultra-clear glass with reduced iron content, such as for the popular Hollis M-3, the Saint-Gobain diamond glass which allows a higher light transmission and thus eliminates the green cast to ensure excellent color brilliance underwater. The large crystal clear mono lens of the Hollis M-1 Onyx mask offers a clear, undistorted and unadulterated view when diving.

Uniquely large field of view and small mask volume

To complement the almost unbelievable underwater viewing experience that the M-1 diving mask offers, it is equipped with a generously sized single lens. For this reason, with the M-1 Onyx you will not only experience razor-sharp colors, but also a very large field of view, because the absence of the central bar significantly increases your viewing angle when diving.

In addition, the mask skirt is kept very flat, which brings the glass closer to the eye than most other masks and thus also increases the field of vision. Of course, the interior volume of the mask is correspondingly smaller, which also simplifies pressure equalization with increasing depth.

Robust mask with durable materials and minimalist design

The Hollis M1 also scores with its robust structure and its excellent fit, because it has a frameless, stable silicone skirt with a simple, elegant design and a very good fit. The very soft, anti-allergenic silicone is comfortable on the face and ensures a good seal when diving.
