Mares LED Tank Module 2.0
This latest generation Mares transmitter is a powerful transmitter with LED display for hose-free transmission of the air pressure from the scuba tank to the Mares Sirius dive computer, which thus automatically turns into an air-integrated dive computer for even more safety when diving. The Sirius is also available as a Mare dive computer and tank pod set, and can be paired with up to 3 Tank Module 2. Transmitters.
Simple installation and secure connection
The Mares tank pressure transmitter 2.0 is very easy to install by attaching it to an available, compatible high-pressure connection ( 7/16″) on your regulator. The transmitter can be paired with the Sirius dive computer in no time at all and is memorised so that the connection is maintained even after a battery change or software update.
The 2.0 Mares transponder with LED provides a secure radio connection to the dive computer and has a range of 1.5 metres. The Mares Sirius can be paired with up to 3 transmitters simultaneously in order to use several scuba tanks underwater.
Stable data transmission for more safety when diving
Accurate, up-to-date air consumption and tank pressure information is transmitted directly to the dive computer via radio connection and this data is then included in all dive calculations to provide you with precise values about your remaining no-decompression time, saturation or remaining air time, making your dive that little bit safer.
Pressure display also via LED
As soon as the transmitter is connected, the approximate pressure of the dive tank is immediately visible to the diver, even without looking at the dive computer. This is because the attached LED display on the Mares transponder is colour-coded so that you can immediately see how much air is left in your tank, even on the surface without a dive computer or underwater for your buddy or dive guide.
Long battery life
The Mares Transmitter Tank Module 2.0 is powered by a standard 14250 battery, which allows approx. 150 operating hours depending on ambient temperature (the operating time of the transmitter begins as soon as the tank is opened, not at the start of the dive)
. The battery level of the transmitter battery is displayed on the dive computer when they are used together, i.e. when diving.
Very robust construction
For safe operation, the Mares LED Tank Module 2.0 is made of very robust materials and is EU certified up to 300 bar, compliant with En250:2014.
