The latest Scubapro wetsuits are made from the innovative Yulex Dive Foam material, which is based on pure natural rubber and comes from sustainable rubber farms. These farms are all FSC-certified, which means that they meet strict social, ecological and economic standards to protect the environment.

The manufacturer is committed to all-round sustainability by using solvent-free glue for the seams and recycled polyester from plastic bottles for the inner and outer coating of the suits.

This innovative Yulex Dive natural rubber can easily compete with conventional limestone neoprene in terms of pressure resistance, comfort and thermal protection. Long-term tests have shown that Yulex suits are not only impressively durable and hard-wearing, but can also easily withstand years of intensive diving as well as the challenges of salt and chlorinated water and mechanical stress.

In order to further extend the service life of the Scubapro Yulex wetsuits, areas of the suit that are particularly exposed to stress have been given additional protective coatings against external mechanical influences, such as abrasion-resistant outer lining on the seat and shoulders and robust pads on the knees and shoulders.

Special attention has also been paid to the seams – these are double blind stitch seams that are also glued, waterproof and extremely hard-wearing

In the tradition of the renowned Everflex wetsuits, Scubapro is once again relying on the proven Pure Design concept with the Yulex overalls. The essence of this design lies in the precise distribution of materials as required, so that maximum thermal insulation blends seamlessly with unrestricted mobility. Each section of the Yulex coverall is designed to eliminate unnecessary seams and replace them with pre-shaped contours for a perfect fit. Comfort is further enhanced by the warming Blue Diamond Span fleece in the chest area, complemented by double cuffs on the legs and seamlessly welded arm cuffs to ensure an effective seal for extra comfort.

The Everflex Yulex 5/4mm wetsuit is also characterized by its excellent thermal insulation, which has earned it CE certification as a Class B wetsuit, ideal for water with temperatures between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius. However, it is important to bear in mind that the sensation of warmth varies from person to person, so each diver will have their own personal experience of the suit’s thermal protection.

High-quality and durable YKK zippers with brass sliders have been used at all points.

The inside of the Yulex wetsuit is lined with a skin-friendly lining, making it more comfortable to wear and easier to put on and take off.

Simple, flat blind stitch seams ensure a comfortable fit.

On the outside, reinforcements in exposed areas, an abrasion-resistant outer coating and practical I-Safe holders on the forearm for non-slip attachment of diving instruments have been integrated.

If the cold water in your 5mm Yulex wetsuit is too refreshing, we recommend that you increase the thermal protection with additional neoprene accessories. A suitable ice vest such as the Definition 6.0 with hood not only offers you protection for your head, but also additional 6mm neoprene for your upper body. Alternatively, you can also consider a separate neoprene hood and neoprene gloves.
