The Mares Ergo Flex Snorkel

The Mares Ergo Flex is a high quality Mares snorkel, available in our online dive shop also with dry top, as Ergo Dry or as Ergo Splash with Splash guard on the top, a snorkel with open top and purge valve, specially designed to give you the highest possible comfort on longer snorkelling trips, but also very popular with divers.

Comfortable snorkel with ergonomic details

To ensure that you don’t have a strained neck or jaw on long snorkelling trips, this Mares snorkel has been made from a lightweight and unbreakable plastic and features some ergonomic details.

The anatomically shaped mouthpiece is made of soft, hypoallergenic silicone, and ensures a secure fit even during long snorkelling sessions.

For the same purpose, a pleated tube has been built into the tube of the Ergo Flex so that the snorkel follows all head movements without straining your neck muscles. The snorkel tube has a slight curve that has been adapted to the rounding of your head.

Easy water drain thanks to purge valve

For easy getting the water out of the snorkel, the Ergo Flex is equipped with a drain valve at the bottom of the snorkel tube, so you only have to blow gently to get the water out.

With open top

For fans of minimalist snorkels, the top of the snorkel has been deliberately left open for unhindered breathing. Of course, there is always a risk of wave water or sea spray getting into your snorkel from above.

If you are looking for more protection against water entering from above, we recommend a snorkel with a dry valve, such as the Ergo Dry with Dry Top or the Rebel Dry, or at least a snorkel with splash guard, such as the Ergo Splash or the Rebel Splash.

Easy attachment, easy adjustment

With the attached snorkel holder, the Mares snorkel can be easily attached to the mask strap, where it provides a secure hold while snorkelling. Depending on the head size, the height of the snorkel can be adjusted by simply sliding the snorkel holder along the snorkel tube.
