Aqualung Helix 1st stage

Reliable air delivery

The Helix 1st stage is a balanced, diaphragm-controlled stage that ensures smooth and effortless breathing at any depth. Regardless of cylinder pressure, this 1st stage provides you with a constant, comfortable airflow.

Well insulated 1st stage

Equipped with the patented ACD technology, the 1st stage is well protected against water and impurities both underwater and above water. In addition, the Helix 1st stage is very well protected against freezing, as it is equipped with a cold water kit, a dry kit that protects the stage against the ingress of cold water and thus against freezing. Therefore, the Helix pro regulator is ideally suited as a cold water regulator.

Compact dimensions and well-placed ports

Lightweight and compact, this Aqualung stage will not overburden your luggage. The well thought-out placement of the 4 medium pressure ports, which are positioned in a T-shape on the 1st stage, ensures optimum hose routing. In addition, you will find 2 high-pressure ports for the finimeter and transmitter on the Helix 1st stage.

Lightweight and very comfortable 2nd stage

Made of robust yet very light materials, the Helix 2nd stage is very comfortable in the mouth even on long dives. It is equipped with a very practical exhaust tee that directs the exhaled air bubbles away from the diver’s field of vision.

In addition, this 2nd stage has a very comfortable Comfo-Bite mouthpiece made of very soft and durable silicone, with an ergonomic shape to avoid any fatigue and tension of the jaw during diving and to ensure a secure hold, even in strong currents.

Very comfortable breathing

This pneumatically balanced 2nd stage allows you to breathe very comfortably and evenly even at greater depths. The stage is equipped with a large venturi switch that you can easily operate even when wearing thick neoprene gloves.

Good cold water protection

The Helix 2nd stage has a patented heat exchanger that protects the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold and prevents ice crystals from forming inside the stage. So even in cold water you are in good hands with the Helix regulator.

Aqualung Octopus

This high-quality Aqualung regulator is of course joined by an equally powerful Aqua Lung Helix Octopus, which delivers the same performance as the regulator’s primary 2nd stage.

Good cold water performance and pleasant breathing comfort

This pneumatically balanced alternative air supply is also equipped with the same heat exchanger around the valve, making it fully cold water compatible. The pneumatically balanced mode of operation provides comfortable breathing resistance in an emergency.

No accidental free-flow

With a Venturi lever, this Aqua Lung Octopus can prevent accidental free-flow when submerged when the Octopus is not in use.

And, as befits an octopus, it comes with a highly visible 1m. long yellow hose and yellow purge button.

The Aqualung pressure gauge in this regulator set is a lightweight and compact finimeter, accurate and easy to attach.

Easy to read even in poor visibility

This underwater pressure gauge has a clear display with good contrast and coloured reserve area, still very easy to read even in poor visibility.

Robust diving instrument with pressure relief valve

The plastic housing is light and shock-resistant, and protects the sensitive instrument even under demanding conditions. The finimeter is protected against accidental bursting by a pressure relief valve.

The finimeter is equipped with a robust high-pressure hose and a practical attachment eyelet, so you can easily attach the instrument to your BCD with a suitable carabiner or console holder.

Miflex inflator hose

The regulator complete set is rounded off with a black, robust and flexible inflator hose with a length of 65cm and a classic connection according to DIN standard EN 250.
