Scubapro Ankle Weights are high-quality Scubapro lead-grain pockets with elongated shape and practical closures, so you can easily attach and adjust the Scubapro Ankle Weights to your ankles.

The Scubapro Ankle Weights consist of robust Cordura bags with lead-grain, with the same design as the larger Scubapro Weight Pockets with soft lead for weight integrated BCDs. The Scubapro Ankle Weights are tear-resistant and watertight Cordura pockets with taped and sealed seams to prevent lead abrasion from entering the environment, and to prevent lead grains to get in touch with water.

The Scubapro Ankle Weights with lead grain are 0,5kg or 1,0 kg very high-quality soft lead pockets which can easily be adapted to the ankle circumference with a patented fastening system and securely closed with a quick-release buckle.

And now a useful tip among diving professionals – when the lead grain inside soft weights / lead-grain pockets are often getting in contact with water and heat, they can oxidize. This oxidation creates low pressure or vacuum inside the lead pockets and the pieces of weight become hard. You can compensate for the negative pressure by a small hole in the lead pocket, which you afterwards with seal with Aquasure or with Scubapro aqua glue.
