Packing for a diving trip? Whether you’re heading to a tropical paradise or a cold-water adventure, having the right gear is essential. Here’s your ultimate checklist to ensure you don’t forget anything before your dive!
Essentials
Most items can be bought on-site if forgotten, but without the following, you might have trouble:
- ID and/or passport (check validity)
- (International) driver’s license, if required
- Cash and credit cards
Diving Equipment
- Certification (Brevet), logbook & diving insurance (physical or digital copy)
- ABC gear: Mask, snorkel, fins
- Dive computer (incl. transmitter), compass, torch, buoy & reel
- Diving suit (wetsuit/drysuit)
- BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) incl. weight pockets or personal weight belt
- Regulator set
Depending on temperature, also pack:
