Packing for a diving trip? Whether you’re heading to a tropical paradise or a cold-water adventure, having the right gear is essential. Here’s your ultimate checklist to ensure you don’t forget anything before your dive!

Essentials

Most items can be bought on-site if forgotten, but without the following, you might have trouble:

  • ID and/or passport (check validity)
  • (International) driver’s license, if required
  • Cash and credit cards

Diving Equipment

  • Certification (Brevet), logbook & diving insurance (physical or digital copy)
  • ABC gear: Mask, snorkel, fins
  • Dive computer (incl. transmitter), compass, torch, buoy & reel
  • Diving suit (wetsuit/drysuit)
  • BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) incl. weight pockets or personal weight belt
  • Regulator set

Depending on temperature, also pack:
Neoprene socks or regular socks
Undersuit, hood, gloves
If using a drysuit, don’t forget an undersuit and thermal socks
